Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas

Bass Pro Shop... Jimmie's favorite store . Hanging out with a few of the podiatry boys

How did I get so lucky?

So I guess I don't know how to rotate the pictures sorry

Since funds are low here is the picture we were going to use for our Christmas card. So.. Merry Christmas.

Hanging out on the beach in Sunny Isles. Koa is not to sure about the sand anymore. The second we get there he is running for the side walk. He has no choice, he is forced to love the beach. Sorry Koa!

Just built our first tent. Of course Koa wanted to have a popcorn party, I can't blame him. He eats about four bags a day. At least it is the 100 calorie bags right.

Thanksgiving dinner

Good food and good company made Thanksgiving wonderful. I have so many things to be thankful for. I know I am blessed by a wonderful family and great friends.

Here is the other part of the Christmas card. I guess you can say I have not used my blog for a little while apparently I don't know how to rotate or move pictures to where they should go. Kera Baugh you need to help me out.

Aww he looks so little

I am in California visiting my family for Christmas while Jimmie is busy studying (surprise surprise) for finals. I was looking through my Mom's pictures and found this one of little baby Koa . He has long hair and two little teeth. It is strange how fast they grow right before your eyes. We miss you Jimmie and can't wait to see everyone for Christmas!

Ready To Run!

Ft. Lauderdale Half Marathon:
Kim, Leah, Kelsie, Angie, and I had a blast last weekend running the half. We decided a few months ago to do it. I was sad I couldn't go run the San Fran Nike half with my girls who were sprend out across the country so I did some research and found one twenty minutes away! It was such an amazing run. The course was beautiful along the beach, what better company could I have asked for. This is one I would love to do every year.
We had a pre-run dinner with our families so we could actually wear our shirts. Dorky I know, it was my idea so don't make to much fun of us.

What a good fan club we have. This was the first time I have ran a race since I had Koa. It is great to get to see my two boys after running. Jimmie is honestly the best supporter ever. He comes to everything. I have to brag a little about him. He use to buy me a new running outfit before each race. Well those days are gone because our jobs are gone. Ha ha but he did buy me a new tank top and sweat bands. He wore one and I wore one, our little thing he started back when I played soccer in college. He is such a creative husband. I could not ask for better.

Honestly, who would not want to live in driving distant from here. This was my first time to the beaches at FT. Lauderdale. I loved it, my brother Rob also served his mission here. Fun facts:)

Thanks girls for helping me run, it would not be fun to do without you. The Aventura loop knows us all pretty well. Now that running is in our blood, we've decided to do another half and maybe just maybe if I can make myself do another whole, I will welcome the 26.1 miles. YEEK What do you think Juli? Should I wait til the twins are born so you can join us? Anyone else want to join?

This is For the Grandmas Who miss Koa Man

All of the poor students have to be creative with our activities, when we found out the zoo was doing a free day for museum week, we jumped all over it. Koa was in heaven seeing all the animals for the first time. To bad Jimmie had to study, we missed having him with us.

Brittany Andersen is nine months prego here. We had a good time at her baby shower. She is my hero!

Koa and Kade are best buds. They have a blast together. Koa gets more than excited to hang out with Kade. About an hour before Kade comes over, Koa is saying Kade, Kade, Kade a million times. It is actually the only time I can ever get anything done around the house. I would adopt this kid if his parents would let me.

I honestly would be so lost without the wives here to help me through the weeks. Many of the girls are not in this picture. I sure do miss the ones who have moved on with real life, you know who you are:)

Our First Orlando Temple Trip

Its amazing how much I took for granted the temple when it was ten minutes away from me in Utah. Now that we have to drive three hours you cherish every moment. Thanks for the fun time guys!

Another Free Day at the Botanical Gardens

This was our first outing with the Goldberg Family. They are awesome, and of course there will be many more.

Put me in Coach!

My little man was ready to rock with his Dixie State shoes, flags and Aloha shirt.  It's so funny to see him run around the field.  He is even working on his pre-game Haka.  I sure hope he gets grandpa Averett's speed.  Love my little REBEL.

Below Knee Docs

School is back in and more importantly flag football has started.  Don't worry, I ripped a huge hole in my new under armor shorts in our third game and had to play most of the game with my camo undies hanging out.  Not a good site!  But I love our team.  We are having fun and enjoy taking it to the youngsters here at Barry University.  The best part of each game is watching my little man Koa run around the side lines with his own flags tied tight to his waist. Got to love football!

Endless Summer

Caution: I posted tons of pictures SORRY!
Needless to say we had an amazing summer! We spent some quality time with family and friends playing hard.

The Smith Family Reunion took place in San Diego. This was our last trip with my little brother Stevie before his mission to Tulsa Oklahoma. I can't believe he is going on a mission, I am going to miss him so stinkin much. We are way close.

Thanks to Kathy for letting Koa and I move in for a month. We had a blast hanging out and spending time with Grandma. She taught Koa some great tricks. The poor twins had to deal with Koa beatin them up. They have gotten so BIG

Cox Family Reunion in Beaver Mountain:
I can't describe how nice it was to wear jeans and a sweatshirt in the summer. We had a blast hiking, eating, reading and just being with extended family. Koa was in heaven. He loved playing in the dirt from sun up to sun down.

From Disneyland to watching David Beckman get kick out of the soccer game, to wakeboarding, and picnics, we used our time wisely! Thank you everyone for hanging out with us. We had such a good time. We sure do love St. George and California, but we did miss Florida and our friends who are honestly our family here. We are glad to be back in the real world. We just moved into our new apartment down the hall. It is bigger and the view is AMAZING. The offer still stands... we would love visitors!!!
