Only 8 Days Until Christmas and Disney World!!!!!!!

I can't wait until Christmas. This year we are staying here in Florida. Christmas night we are driving up to Orlando where we will meet Jimmie's whole family to PARTY at Disney World. We have been counting down the days for like two months. It is going to be so much fun to see them and spend a week playing. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving.

I just love this picture of Koa. Every time I see it I laugh.
Andersen's white elephant Christmas party. I thought the camera was set up to take a picture of the whole group... when I got home this is all I had. So if anyone who was there has a full group picture I would love it. There is such an amazing group of people here. I love spending time with them. I can't believe this is our last Christmas here.
Be careful spiderman will shot his web at you.
Koa got to touch snow for the first time, I don't know if it officially counts since he is in Florida, wearing shorts, with flip flops, in December... I think this the the closet he will get to snow for a year. I was in shock that he sat still while he got his face painted. Koa had to keep looking at himself in the mirror to make sure his mask looked perfect.

We took Koa on a carriage ride around Gulf Stream, he was loving it, and had to pull him off.

Thanks to Jimmie's professor Dr. Southerland we had the chance to sail the Atlantic ! He took us out to sightsee part of the Keys. We explored and learned lots of history of the Atlantic Ocean and it's landmarks.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! This year was interesting to say the least. It was not our traditional big feast, but we did have fun. We started the day off with Jimmie playing football, then seeing Tangled, and ended it at Golden Corral, yes I did say Golden Corral. If I can give you any advice, never, never go there for Thanksgiving, it was awful, crowded, and full of nasty food. Next year will be much better... but I did have a wonderful day with my two boys. Even with the bad food, we still had fun and have so much to be thankful for. I know we are truly blessed.

Mr. Incredible can't wait for Santa to come visit him. He is trying his best to be a good boy!

Hard to Say Goodbye!!!

Grandma Cox... what a wonderful women. A lady who everyone looked up to admired and wanted to be just like her. She had such a welcoming, kind heart and you knew right away that she loved you.

In October we all lost a major part of our life. Our dear Grandma went to live with HeavenlyFather. Even just writing this brings tears to my eyes. Although she was Jimmie's Grandma, she was more than any Grandma I ever knew. In fact she is my Grandma although I only knew her for eight years, I feel like she taught me through example more than I could ever ask her. Its funny, everyone feels the same way. The major thing that sticks out in my mind is the way she loved her husband. They are the cutest couple I have ever seen, always hand in hand, serving each other and laughing together. I want Jimmie and I to follow in their footsteps. Thanks Grandma for showing us what true love is.

How thankful I am that Koa got to know her.

So I don't know why it has taken me this long to get Halloween pictures up since it is almost Thanksgiving, but better late than never right? We went with the Toy Story theme this year for Halloween and had a great time. Koa was super happy that his Mom and Dad dressed up with him. Jimmie was such a good sport. Don't look to close at the costumes then you will see my true sewing skills.

After we went to St. George for the funeral we spent a few days in Vegas visiting my sister and her cute kids.
I also got to see my girls Lindsey Nelson and Genie Swensen. It was great to spend time with them. Thanks Linds for letting Koa and I stay in your sweet house, I am way jealous!!!!

Of course we had to participate in the annual Smith Family pumpkin carving contest. Which my brother usually rigs but this year, Koa's pumpkin won. Actually he got second, my Mom won, but since it was her party she was nice enough to let Koa have the winning title.

Oh P.S. JIMMIE , KOA AND I ARE GOING TO HAVE AN ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY...ANOTHER LITTLE BOY!!!!!
We can't wait, Koa is more than happy to have a brother!

Two year old pictures

I was sad that I didn't think to have my friend Tenille do Koa's 2 year old pictures while I was in Utah. She does them outside and such a great job, but these still turned out pretty cute.
I just love this kid. He makes us happier than we could ever imagine. He does give us a run for our money but its all worth it. Love you Koa Man!

Where Did My Baby Go?

After... it is always a little tricky to get Koa to sit still.

Before...
the long hair was cute, but its just to hot and humid in Florida for long hair. Koa has unfortunately inherited Jimmie and my sweating problem so his hair was always a sweaty mess.

How could you not love this place? I still can't believe we live here. I feel so lucky. I know this will be the first thing I miss. Being able to drive a half a mile to the beach is amazing.

Amber, Buzz sleeps, eats and hangs out with Koa all day long. Thanks again for Buzz.

We went to this free petting zoo/park with some of the girls here. Jimmie decided it had been to long since he has climbed a tree. Can you see that little blue dot, ya that is my 5 year old husband. After he got down he had to explain to the kids they were to little to climb the tree. He always keeps life fun. I am glad he is my husband forever.

Let the Good Times Roll

My buddy Susan came out from Utah with her little girl to visit for a week. We had a great time hitting the beaches, pools and splash pad. Thanks for coming Susan.

I think this is one of our families new favorite adventures. We have wanted to go kayaking since we moved here and I am glad we got to do it especially with the Goth's. Koa even loved going on the kayak. I had a small fear a shark would approach us especially while he was riding in the middle of the boat, but lucky for us we ended up with all our fingers and toes.

Koa's first time at Disneyworld left him talking about pirates, horses, BUZZ and bugs for weeks. He could not get enough of it. This was our first official family vacation alone... without my family or Jimmie's. I loved every second of it. Minus the continual sweating in the hot, humid weather. It was still worth the trip next time I will just bring a towel.

Shark Valley

Jimmie and I were the like the only ones out there, we only saw one alligator this time, but I loved riding my bike and not fearing I am going to get hit by a car or honked at. I could go here every single day. It feels like you are so far from the city.

My sister and her three kids came to visit us! It has been a year since they have been to Florida. Koa was loving playing with his cousins. He stayed up late, ate lots of treats and always had someone to play guns with. What more could a two year old ask for. Jimmie did a surprise visit to St. George to see his Mom while my sister was here but he forgot to take the camera.

I love this picture... SLUMBER PARTY!
