My Father, My Hero

I just wanted to give a little shout out to my Dad! He is the best Dad, I often wonder why I got so lucky to be born into such a wonderful home. I just want you all to know how awesome of a man he is. He has worked at a Honda Dealership FOREVER! He has put in so many long hours for my family. What an example he has set for all of his kids never to give up and to always work hard. My Dad is such a good listener. I can remember just waiting for him to come home at night when I had a hard day. He would sit on the edge of my bed and make my world better. He watched so many soccer games, stayed up late so many nights waiting for me to come home, and always made sure I knew he loved me and that I would forever be his little girl. I feel so lucky to be able to call Tim Smith my Father, (he even surfs every Friday, what other girl can say that about their Dad) and my best friend. Happy Father's Day Dad!

I also feel very lucky to have a great father in-law Big AL!

Happy Father's Day!

The second Jimmie held Koa in his arms I knew he would be such a wonderful father! He has gone way above any expectations I had for him. Even though Jimmie is such a busy Daddy he still finds time to be with his little boy. Between studying, sleeping, and eating, they spend some quality time together. Koa gets so excited when Jimmie gets home from school, he gives him is fake laugh, smiles then crawls like a mad man to his arms. Jimmie, thank you for being such a wonderful father to our first child. You are an amazing Dad he is so lucky to be your son. Happy Fathers Day! We both love you more than you will ever know.

Seriously I live Here?

Sometimes I forget how awesome it is that I live in Florida two seconds from the beach!  I really do love it here!

I just need girls to play soccer, or find a league that actually has women that play and life would be complete.  Never before would  I ever dreamed that I would go one week without playing soccer, it has been way to long.  I am going through with drawls.  Not that soccer has anything to do with these pictures, but I love my life!

Cruising into our 6 years together!

Jimmie and I got to celebrate our 6th Anniversary sailing to the Bahamas. We had a blast spending time together. It was a weekend trip from Friday to Monday. Koa stayed in Florida with our great friends the Nelsons who took wonderful care of him. (We sure did miss our little buddy) We spent a day in Atlantis, this was the best part of the cruise. We went to the aquarium , played on the water slides, and hung out at the beach. Everyone talks about cruise food being wonderful, well if you are looking for good food do set sail on the Celebration cruise line. The food SUCKED! For our first cruise it was a blast. I cannot believe I have spent six wonderful years with my best friend. He has made my life amazing. I love you Jimmie.

Home made P.J.'s

This post is dedicated to my mother Janet Smith who has tried her best to make me a homemaker. She has taught me sewing lessons, even taught a class that all my friends took called "Sew Neatly" and still I just wasn't interested. I would of rather been out playing soccer any day then sitting at a table sewing. My mother even attempted teaching me how to cook meals, ya I was far from even being interested in that, but today I have made a change, I am a new Nichole. Well the truth of the matter is, I don't have a lot of options to play soccer, I am not teaching full time or even coaching, so a girl has to have some hobbies to fill her days. I can honestly say I enjoy it, thanks to my buddy Kim. She has brought a new light to sewing. She has taught me as well as many other girls here how to sew. We have made P.J.'s nursing covers and baby slings. The possiblities are endless. I find myself in the fabric store having a very good time. Thanks Kim for bringing out the sewer in me. Mom, I am sorry I never cared or paid attention to your sewing and cooking lessons. I hope you are proud:)

Short But Sweet

My sister Rhonda and her kids came for a short quick trip. They can fly for free, so we take what we can get when the flights are wide open. They flew in on Tuesday morning and flew out on Thursday morning. Hey, we made the most of it and squeezed everything in that we could. We went swimming all day Tuesday and went to the beach all day Wednesday. I hope you all like our lovely hats. Brookie brought them all the way from Las Vegas, she was excited for us all to wear our Florida hats. Rhonda threatened to bring a different article of clothing every time she visits Florida and by the end of our four years here we will be quite the sight. Thanks Brookie.
